amplify

A new Uncurbed project training disabled artists in facilitation skills to lead workshops, and spark meaningful conversations in communities across Salford.

Building on the momentum of We Claim the Hall, nine Uncurbed artists are working together to explore what leadership can look like, drawing on performance, drama, and conversation as tools for connection.

Co-production

We Claim the Hall followed a collaborative framework where disabled artists co-led decisions on creative content, venues, and accessibility. Amplify will develop this work so disabled artists shape creative journeys, build confidence as facilitators, and open space for others to take part.

Creative Health

Through performance, drama, and conversation, Amplify uses creativity as a tool for wellbeing. The workshops bring disabled community groups together across Salford, sparking collaboration, building confidence, and creating shared purpose and connection.

Strategic Change

The project positions disabled artists as leaders and decision-makers. Artists engage with communities across Salford, lead workshops, and share insights with local networks and cultural organisations.
