Blast off with SPACED – a joyride through the galaxy powered by comedy, freedom, and connection.
Led by artist-performer Michael Gleave, this new show-in-development creates a universe where freedom is infinite and joy has no limits.
Born from Michael’s original performance art, Space Adex (Cells – A Body of Work), SPACED explores how we find room to be ourselves – and how laughter can open the airlock. With development support from Uncurbed, Michael and his creative team have shared early versions of the show at HOME Manchester and The Edge Theatre.

Michael Gleave is a charismatic performer with a mind full of ideas and a mission to entertain.
He’s been part of Uncurbed Collective for over a decade, captivating audiences with his energy, humour, and presence. From performance-installations at Tate Liverpool to unforgettable moments on stage, Michael is always pushing what’s possible.
